Jaisalmer City Sightseeing Tour
• Pick-up from Jaisalmer (railway station / bus stand / preferred location). • Check-in at Hotel Little Jaisal Haveli for freshen-up and relaxation. City Sightseeing Begins: • The sightseeing tour starts from near the Jaisalmer Fort Gate at around 8:00 AM, where you’ll be welcomed with a refreshing cup of traditional Rajasthani tea. • Begin a guided walk inside the Jaisalmer Fort (Sonar Quila) and explore: o Maharaja Palace – seat of royal history. o Lakshmi Nath Temple – one of the oldest Hindu temples in the fort. o Chandraprabhu Jain Temple & Surya Temple – exquisite examples of Jain architecture. o Cannon Point – offering panoramic views of the golden city. • Proceed by car/jeep to visit: o Patwon Ki Haveli – the most famous haveli known for its intricate carvings. o Nathmal Ki Haveli – a blend of Rajput and Islamic architectural styles. o Mandir Palace – once the residence of Jaisalmer’s royal family. • Lunch break – enjoy a local Rajasthani meal at your own expense. • After lunch, visit Vyas Chhatri, known for its beautifully carved cenotaphs and scenic views. • Continue to Gadisar Lake, a peaceful spot to relax. o Optional: enjoy a horse ride or boating on the lake (at your own expense). • Conclude your city tour and return to your hotel for rest.
